2018 at Redpost Shows
Thank you to everyone who has supported Redpost Shows this year, whether you were competing or spectating! We have had a busy year, running both Unaffiliated and Affiliated Show Jumping Shows and a Charity Show in aid of Rowcroft Hospice.
NAF kindly sponsored an Unaffiliated Points Table at our Wednesday evening shows, providing some fantastic prizes to the six highest placed combinations over the season; a big well done to Becky Wright riding Breeze who were our overall champions! Becky attended a number of our shows over the season, gaining many high placings that put her at the top of the league. Becky won a gorgeous embroidered winner’s show rug, NAF goodies and voucher!
We held five British Show Jumping Affiliated Shows this year, thank you to everyone who came along. Michelle Northmore riding Warco B rode a great round in the Senior Newcomers class at our BS show in September to win the Jacky Blackler Memorial Trophy. At our Sunday BS shows, we also ran Unaffiliated Show Jumping classes in the Berry Ring, with a Points League which Leovet kindly sponsored. Leovet provided prizes for both 1st and 2nd place in three qualifying classes and a bumper prize for the overall winner of the season. Jasmine Downes riding Nugget was our Leovet Champion - congratulations!
Every year Redpost Shows holds a Charity event in aid of a local charity. This year we ran two shows, one Ridden Showing Show in June and a Fancy Dress Show Jumping Evening in August. A huge £949.50 was raised from both these events, which has been donated to Rowcroft Hospice. We are extremely grateful to everyone who donated raffle prizes and who supported us in raising money for such a worthy cause.
